Joe Kelly, owner of  The Clip-On Guys, managed an optical store in Lancaster, PA. “Do you have clip ons for these?” was the familiar question from patients selecting prescription frames at the eyewear store. Of course, the answer was always “No”. So, Joe decided to change that. Utilizing simple, existing technology, The Clip-On Guys company was born in 1998 as a retail business to provide custom clip on sunglasses. The business grew, and grew…and grew. Today, The Clip-On Guys sell thousands of clipon glasses each year, to satisfied customers all over the world, as well as, their hometown in York, Pennsylvania.
