“Do you have clip ons for these?” was the familiar question from patients selecting prescription frames at the optical store owner Joe Kelly managed in Lancaster, PA.

Of course, the answer was always “No”. So, Joe decided to change that.

Utilizing simple, existing technology, “The Clip On Guys” was born in 1998 as a retail business to provide custom clip on sunglasses.
